Krugle has started Beta testing. We have a member in the test group and will try to keep you updated on how it's going. Without giving away any of their top-secret methods of course. We are all really excited about the concept and the guys at Krugle look like they are really pulling it off. Have you ever written a great bit of code and saved it away for when you needed it only to find that when you needed it you couldn't find it having erased it or misplaced it at some point? If you've written code more then once you've probably done this.
There is also the code that gets created and thrown away during the process of developing an application. Often times we will test several methods before settling on which one is best for this solution. The other solutions may have had merit as well and even been worth saving, but of course we write over them and move on.
Until now that has been the lot of us lowly developers but no more. We're developing a tool right now that will save our code as we work and store it away in a history that we can access later. This will keep us from loosing valuable code that we would otherwise have forgotten.
This tool will save us all time and effort by allowing us to search through our personal code repository in search of snippets that we can include in current and future projects.

We've been kicking around the idea of updating the layout of beachbumsoftware.com for over a year. Finaly we have something to show for it. We have moved the site to a better server and updated the look all at once. Now hopefully we can focus more on content and development.
